If you have spent any amount of time in online forums then I’m sure you have run across individuals looking for feedback on their work. Forums are a great tool to communicate with others and obtain feedback, but almost every time I see someone posting their work for review, a good amount of the comments are grossly negative. I am sure that the individuals posting their projects are expecting and looking for honest and constructive criticism, but that’s not always what they get.
Are business cards still important?

When I get a business card, I generally jot down a few notes on the back about how I met the person, possibly their twitter name and even some characteristics that will help me remember them later or provide a conversation starter should we ever touch base again. Then I throw it away.
Change isn’t always good
Some businesses will struggle with their image. They think about their clientele, how they will be perceived and their overall look. This is all very important, unless your brand becomes as uncertain as you are about those things. Such uncertainties can lead to inconsistencies and misconceptions that could leave others wondering whether or not they can take you seriously.
Well which is it?
When I first put together the copy for the Liquis Web site, I noticed all the other Web designers used the term “website” when describing their business, which is the most common spelling and capitalization for the word. I knew from consulting my AP Stylebook that it should be spelled Web site because it is from the root World Wide Web, but frankly, nobody’s following the rules!
