I couldn’t stop myself from clicking on the link when I saw something about a Beer Camp on Twitter. When I got to the site my mind shifted from beer to design as I was checking out the interesting page transitions. This site definitely has a unique concept, my only critiques is that it takes a little while to load and the actual info is tough to sort out for a newcomer…. otherwise, this is a COOL website!

1. Don’t loose your nerve. All great ideas started with someone willing to TRY. That includes investment physically and financially. If you don’t do it right, someone else will. I’ve seen this happen and it breaks my heart. Liquis has a file full of confidentiality agreements of fantastic ideas that never saw the light of day… don’t let this happen to your idea.
So many businesses want to develop special collateral (such as brochures, pamphlets, etc.) for an event, promotion, or whatnot on a deadline. There’s nothing wrong with deadlines, we live on deadlines, but when it comes to collateral, there are so many things that can not be controlled and therefore must be taken into consideration when developing the deadline…

What is Charity ‘n’ Chow?It’s a holiday event hosted by Liquis Design in which attendees are encouraged to bring an in-kind donation for Crisis Nursery in exchange for a pancake breakfast.
Crisis Nursery exists to provide hope and support to children threatened with abuse, neglect or homelessness. Each child is assured of nurturance and protection from experiences and environments that are harmful to their well-being.
